Susan Koroljow

Susan is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She has taught high school math and science along with some college math. She started sewing at the age of twelve, mostly making her own clothes. She continued doing this well into adulthood. At twenty-one, Susan started her first quilt. That first one took her twenty years to finish. Her second one took considerably less time. She has now made over twenty-five quilts and is still going strong. Susan is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She has taught high school math and science along with some college math. Description: The paws are a light brown and black backed by a medium blue and separated by a large yellow and green floral print. The sashing is a dark brown with a brown and black check print as posts. A tan stripe with rust flowers makes the border. The backing fabric is a dark gold-on-gold cross stitch type print.

Technique: Machine Pieced. Machine Quilted.

Description: This quilt was a commissioned. My customer saw the original Bear-Paw quilt and wanted something like it but warmer and larger. I made him this quilt using wool batting and enlarging the pattern somewhat. I used the original color scheme because that was what the buyer liked so much about the original.

Technique: Machine Pieced. Machine Quilted.
