Debra has been sewing since she was 15, and quilting since 1998. Her grandmother was a hand piecer and hand quilter and she loved watching her and her "B" around the quilting frame. Debra loves making quilts, wall hangings, and home decor. Her favorite type of quilting is appliqué, and she loves the more whimiscal side of quilting designs which will be obvious in many of her projects. She and her husband and have 9 grandchildren, so baby quilts are a specialty! |

The package with the Personalized Baby Quilt arrived at my daughter's house on Saturday. Debra sent me a picture of the quilt before she mailed it to my daughter, and I thought the quilt was beautiful in the picture. I arrived at my daughter's house the next day and was able to see the Personalized Baby Quilt in person. It is just georgeous . . . the workmanship is just amazing. This quilt was designed by a mom who encountered "bad dad" one day while taking her child to school. He, of course, was the only one going the wrong way! This quilt would delight any child (or adult) and can be personalized with the child's school name in the blank area on the schoolhouse.
Debra will include a machine-embroidered label with whatever the buyer would like to say.
She will also include a pillowcase for storage of the quilt. |

Just in time for Christmas! The Gingerbread Dance quilt is a combination of piecing and appliqué. The gingerbread men have chenille on their hands and feet, which will become fluffier when washed. This fun quilt would look wonderful on a bed or draped over a sofa.

The baby's weight (and length if desired) will go on the jumper pocket (for a girl) or on the overalls pocket (for a boy). Fabrics will vary, but will be in pinks, yellows and white for girls; and blues, yellows and white for boys. As with all of our commissioned quilts, 50% of the cost is to be paid on order, and once received, I will machine embroider the baby's information, and finish the quilt. When finished, I will notify the buyer who will then send the remaining 50% of the payment, after which I will ship the quilt.
