June has always loved to sew. When she retired from banking in 1998, she decided to make a quilt and was hooked. She worked for her local quilt shop for nine years teaching appliqué. June lives in Titusville, Florida. |

June, the batiks you used in Florida Album are really exceptional selections. Love the water behind the bird, the texture in the gators and manatees, and the prints on the sea turtle shells! The fabrics and that centerpiece bird just captivate you! I agree with you about Tropical Paradise. You can see it from the hallway, and it is sunny and happy and beautiful . . . but the animals in Florida Album steal my heart! - We have them hanging in the bedroom, where they bring such light and happiness to the room. Your work is meticulous, and the fabrics add so much to the design. I look forward to seeing more of your work! - I used to do stained glass...the selection of the right glass made the piece! Your quilts remind me of beautiful stained glass panels in fabric. And while I appreciate the talent and artistry of patterns, I like stories! I will keep looking on the website ...
