Dolores lives in the beautiful Red River Valley of NE Texas in a beautiful half-underground home designed by her and built by her husband. She was born and raised an Amish girl in Yoder, Kansas in an environment where quilting was a way of life. Although she no longer practices that religion, the teachings live on. She was taught the basics of sewing and quilting at an early age and this has served her well in her business. She has been designing her own quilts since 1982. Her beautiful quilts are sought after and bought by collectors and those who appreciate the finest quality quilts. Dolores pieces all her quilts
giving her complete control of color coordination and quality construction.
After she pieces and marks them, they are
beatifully quilted by her Amish friends.
Dolores then completes each quilt by adding the binding and signing and dating each
quilt. |

Most of her quilts are sold as soon as she has them completed, consequently she has very few in stock.
