This quilt is very rich and elegant made with gold, red, burgundy, green, and cream fabrics. It was inspired by the breathtaking fall colors Debbie saw while visiting the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia last October. The quilting was done free hand by machine with a combination of fern leaf, flowers, and meandering patterns. A random scattering of fall leaves are appliquéd to the back side so that when the quilt is folded back the leaves are displayed.The binding is hand sewn to back. Everyone that sees this quilt wants to take it home.
