In combination with the gold fabric, it turned out to be very beautiful. The flowers are made of fabric yo-yos.

The quilting is exquisite and there is so much of it! About 70 flowers and buds are appliquéd onto a shimmery cream background with just a hint of more colour. Burgundy and pink colours too, along with shades of blue flowers and muted greens in the stems and leaves.

Inge saw this quilt in a magazine and fell
in love with the little elephants. She chose to use brighter colours than in the original so it would be more appealing to little ones. She also used bright colours on the back, making the quilt reversible.

Description:
Beautiful Multi-colored Batiks make up the complete front of this quilt. The soft curving lines of the blocks create the appearance of circles. The inner border is aqua with the outer border shades of golds and yellows. The backing of the quilt is marbled golden yellow. The inside section of the quilt is quilted with freehand quilting, the inside border with a zig-zag, and the outer border with semi-circles and tiny stippling. The double folded binding is sewn to the front of the quilt and machine stitched to the back.
